To “do things right” for God’s glory is our mission.  Whether its dealing with people or animals, we do our best to make sure it’s Dunn Rite!

When we travel with VRBO, we have certain expectations for the houses we stay in.  We have tried to make sure that our properties meet those expectations by providing everything you need except your personal items in your suitcase and your groceries.

OUR STORY

We started using vacation rentals when we lived in Texas.  We travelled home to Idaho to visit family and enjoyed having a home to use for the holidays.  As a rental property owner, we found that we enjoy hosting short term renters instead of long term rentals.  We have a large out of state extended family and we enjoy hosting them in our properties.  We hope that others will enjoy them too.

The dream of our ranch came from Joyce, who was adopted out of a ranch in Texas, to the city in California.  It was made possible by an almighty God who chose to bring Don and Joyce together, so that Don could build this incredible ranch.  Growing up a city girl, despite her desire to have a horse, she never did get to experience ranch life until adulthood, when she moved to Idaho.  This ranch is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream.  We don’t do anything fancy here, no rodeo or drill teams, mostly just experiencing the love of horses, whether you are a beginner or an old ranch hand.

Our Bunkhouse was inspired by our daughter, who has Down syndrome.  She has always enjoyed family gatherings and groups of friends coming over for meals and karaoke.  It is always open to our visiting friends and family.  We host family reunions, get togethers, retreats, and small wedding parties on VRBO.com.

We also run a small horse motel.  We are introduced to all kinds of interesting horse people.  Most are tired travelers needing a safe, peaceful place to crash for the night, and some stay a few days to take care of a sick horse at the vet.  It has given us a great experience of seeing all kinds of breeds of horses and hearing about all kinds of horse activities.  We love seeing many of you every year as you travel!
