Ride at the Ranch

Thank you for your interest in visiting our ranch!  Our arena,  and Obstacle course,  are available for Open Riding by appointment / reservation only.

Our outdoor arena (sand footing) is available for open riding from 8:00 am – 8 :00 pm. except when it is booked for an exclusive time on our arena schedule.  Please call or message Dunn Rite Ranch to make a reservation for an exclusive time (no other riders in the arena or course)

Obstacle course is open late Spring to early Fall during the dry months.   Depending on weather, it will be open in May or June for the summer.  We will announce the opening of the Obstacle Course on Facebook.com/DunnRiteRanch.You are welcome to move the portable obstacles into the arena to practice.  If you move obstacles, please leave the obstacles in the same place you found them. 

Round Pen is available for use.  It is only adequate for broke horses.  It is not to be used for unbroke  horses.

Open Riding Restrictions:

During OPEN RIDING, no one is allowed to do anything organized that dominates our arena or obstacle course.     Examples:

  • Lessons
  • Clinics

To reserve the arena and / or obstacle course for an exclusive event, please go to Facility Use.

RV hookups for your LQ, or  dry camping is available if you are coming from out of town.   Reservations can be made here.

WE REQUIRE EVERYONE TO CLEAN UP THEIR MANURE FROM THEIR HORSES ANYWHERE ON OUR GROUNDS AND ARENAS.   

WHEEL BARROWS ARE FOR CLEAN UP ONLY ON OUR PREMISIS.

If you are coming to ride at the Ranch, here’s what you’ll need to do:

  • Schedule a time with us.  Text Joyce at 208-718-0166 or fill out the form below.  We will respond asap
  • Fill out a Liability Form  
  • Pay a $10.00 haul in fee for Open Riding in the arena only OR
  • Pay a $20 haul in fee for Open Riding in the Arena and Obstacle course.
  • Exclusive use of the facility must be requested separately

If you are an instructor and are requesting time for a lesson with a student,  you must have your own instructor insurance.  If you want to rent the arena or obstacle course exclusively for your lesson, please make sure you get on the arena schedule by contacting Joyce.

Payment can be made at the ranch (cash / check goes in the red box on the tack house) or use the Venmo / PayPal links below.

Before you can ride the Obstacle course, you need to be approved by Joyce and Don Dunn.
